License types and usage rights for digital assets sold on ZipRio.

Asset License Terms

Effective Date: March 18, 2026

This page describes the standard license types available on the ZipRio marketplace. Each listing specifies which license applies. The terms below govern how purchased digital assets may be used.

License Tiers

Personal License

Grants the buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the asset for personal, non-commercial projects only.

  • Permitted: Personal projects, portfolios, internal prototypes
  • Not permitted: Commercial use, redistribution, resale, sublicensing
  • Seat limit: 1 individual user

Commercial License

Grants the buyer a non-exclusive right to use the asset in commercial projects.

  • Permitted: Client work, commercial products, paid applications, marketing materials
  • Not permitted: Redistribution of the asset itself, resale as a standalone file, sublicensing to third parties
  • Seat limit: As specified at purchase (default: 1 user or team, per the listing)

Extended Commercial License

Grants broader commercial rights, including use in products distributed to end users.

  • Permitted: Everything in the Commercial License, plus use in products sold to third parties (e.g., themes, templates, plugins distributed commercially)
  • Not permitted: Redistribution or resale of the raw asset files
  • Seat limit: As specified at purchase

Enterprise License

Custom license terms negotiated between the buyer and seller. Contact ZipRio support to initiate an enterprise licensing discussion.

General Terms (All Licenses)

  • No transfer: Licenses are granted to the purchasing individual or entity and may not be transferred or assigned without written consent.
  • No reverse engineering: You may not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the asset beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
  • Attribution: Attribution requirements, if any, are specified in the individual listing. Where required, attribution must be clearly visible in the final work.
  • Updates: License grants apply to the version purchased. Updated versions may be available under the same or revised terms.
  • Termination: Licenses terminate automatically upon breach of these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete copies of the asset.

AI Training Restrictions

Unless the listing explicitly states otherwise, purchased assets may not be used to train, fine-tune, or build machine learning or AI models.

Seller Warranties and Disputes

Sellers represent that they have the legal right to license the content they list. If you believe a listing infringes your intellectual property, contact us through the Help page.

Changes to License Terms

License terms are set at the time of purchase and govern that transaction. We may update these standard terms for future listings; existing purchases are unaffected.
